In this integration effort, Leviticus 19 uses the theme of holiness while Ezra 6 uses the theme of purity. This paper will show that although these are mutually supportive and not contradictory terms, there are extreme differences in usage in Leviticus 19 and Ezra 6. This extreme usage leads to a very different nature of integration between Leviticus 19 and Ezra 6. Leviticus 19 promotes ethically-based integration, while Ezra 6 promotes cult-based integration. This fundamental difference at the same time indicates a change or development of thought in the priestly tradition. Using a literature based qualitative research, this paper will show two integration strategies in the two post-exilic priestly tradition.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Duma Indah Sinagahttps://ojs.sttibc.ac.id/index.php/ibc/article/view/184Penerapan Pelayanan Diakonia Pada Perayaan Pangkahingisam Di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Rante Klasis Salumokanan2023-08-28T00:17:11+00:00Neneng Andrianinenengandrianineneng@gmail.comSoviyanti Burasoviyantibura7890@gmail.comFebrianto Randan Parindingfebriantorandan@gmail.com
The author raised this article because he saw that the problem of implementing diakonia services at the pangkahingisam celebration was that it was no longer in accordance with the real concept of pangkahingisam, namely providing diakonia services for congregation members who do not have land, and caring for each other. The purpose of this research is to provide an explanation to congregation members that diakonia services during the Pangkahingisam celebration are very important so that all congregation members feel shared prosperity when the harvest arrives, both those who have land and those who do not. The author uses qualitative research methods through literature study, observation and interviews. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and interpretation. The conclusion of this research shows that the implementation of diakonia services at the Pengkahingisam celebration in the Rante Congregation has not been carried out well, so the congregation members need to review the actual concept of pangkahingam, especially in the concept of diakonia services.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Neneng Andrianihttps://ojs.sttibc.ac.id/index.php/ibc/article/view/222Upaya Guru PAK Terhadap Penanganan Masalah Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Siswa 2023-09-14T05:03:43+00:00Petrus Bobiiferiukauwopodebobii88@gmail.comKalis Stevanuskalisstevanus91@gmail.comChandra Kirana Luhurdavidchandrakirana@gmail.comFianus Tandionganfianustandiongan72@gmail.com
Difficulty in learning is not uncommon among students. Learning difficulties faced by students at SMP Negeri 2 Tigi Barat, Central Papua, include reading delays that negatifly impact academic achievement. One of the learning difficulties students face is reading difficulties. This paper aims to describe the influence of PAK (Pendidikan Agama Katolik or Catholic Religious Education) teachers in addressing the issue of reading delays. To address this objective, the researcher employed a quantitative method using a questionnaire to determine the level of problem-solving in addressing students' learning difficulties, particularly in the seventh grade. The research results show a significant level with 52 respondents, where the critical value (r tabel) is 0.279, while R Square is 0.738, indicating a moderately significant category. Reading difficulties can be a challenge, but with the right approach, support, and persistence, many students can overcome this issue and improve their reading skills. It is important to remember that every student is a unique individual and may require different amounts of time to overcome their reading difficulties. Therefore, PAK teachers need to provide additional hours or reading lessons to address reading delays, thereby achieving the learning goals of their students. It is advisable to conduct regular reading exercises, ideally every day, to ensure consistency in reading practice. Additionally, involving parents in the student's reading learning process is equally important. They can assist by reading books, discussing stories, and providing moral support.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Kalis Stevanus, Petrus Bobii, Chandra Kirana Luhur, Fianus Tandionganhttps://ojs.sttibc.ac.id/index.php/ibc/article/view/227Ketentuan Hukum Dalam Keluaran 22:6-8 Tentang Kehidupan Bersama Mengenai Harta Kepemilikan 2023-09-11T23:18:44+00:00Abraham Pakpahanabrahampakpahan27@gmail.com
The Israel community is a community that has a close relationship with one another. The Covenant Code in this text have case examples that illustrate the conflicts that occurred until the resolution of the problem in this case. The cases that occur in the text specifically provide cases of steps to resolve conflicts between people to prevent relationships that have the potential to be damaged due to loss of property. The purpose of this research is to understand the text with a more specific case when compared to Ex. 20:15 (decalog ‘not steal’). As a young woman or a virgin who was chosen to conceive and give birth to Jesus, the Son of God, Mary had a wealth of spirituality that today's Christian women can emulate. The method used is library research with a descriptive analysis approach. From an analysis of the holy texts and teachings of the Catholic Church, it is found that Mary has three dimensions of holiness, namely existential holiness, spiritual holiness and moral holiness. The researcher found that the life of the traders was reflecting self-aggrandizement with arrogance and forgetting God. Apart from admonishing them, James gave advice to practice the principles of life that remember God. In this case, individuals need to apply memory improvement strategies about remembering God constantly, namely activating spiritual learning, diligent communication, and high interest.
